1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on a device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and authentication tokens. They can make a service work, remember choices, protect accounts, measure performance or support advertising.
2. How HouseKeeper uses these technologies
Strictly necessary technologies
The authenticated HouseKeeper Platform may use session cookies or tokens to sign users in, maintain sessions, remember security-related settings, prevent fraud and provide requested functions. These are necessary for the service to operate and do not require consent where the law provides an exemption.
Preferences
Where enabled, preference technologies remember choices such as interface settings. We will describe them in the relevant consent control before use where consent is required.
Analytics and performance
We may use limited analytics or performance monitoring to understand how the website or Platform works and to diagnose errors. Non-essential analytics will be used only after consent where UK law requires it.
Advertising
We do not currently use advertising or cross-site behavioural-tracking cookies on this redesigned marketing website.
3. Third-party services
Pages load typography from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google’s servers to retrieve those files, which means technical information such as an IP address and browser details may be processed by Google. Links to the HouseKeeper administration service, social networks or other third-party sites take you to services with their own cookie and privacy policies.
4. Current technology summary
- Website delivery and security: essential technical processing by the hosting service; duration varies according to security and operational need.
- Google Fonts: external font-file requests used to present the site consistently; no advertising purpose is intended by HouseKeeper.
- Authenticated Platform: session and authentication technologies used after you follow a sign-up or login link; controlled by the Platform and described in its privacy information.
5. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent the authenticated Platform from working correctly. If we introduce optional cookies, we will provide an appropriate consent choice before setting them and a way to revisit that choice.
6. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if the technologies or providers we use change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
7. Contact
Questions about our use of cookies can be sent to privacy@housekeeper.host or to FunSpex Limited, Westhill House, 2b Devonshire Road, Bexleyheath, DA6 8DS, United Kingdom.
